2013 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon

One of Australia’s great wines based on its track record and didn’t disappoint on this showing.  Surprisingly ready to drink when popped and poured in a restaurant (375ml) but you can’t argue with the quality in the bottle.

Score – 96 Points

Drink – Now to 2033

Price – $125

Source – Purchased

Details

Black current, cassis and spicy oak, fine tannins and mid length.  Open for business already and a great match for sirloin steak.  Really pleasing to see top class wines that can be accessible so young, no issues with ageing though as the balanced fine tannin structure and acid will see this go the distance.
