Deep yellow colour suggests the ol sunshine in a bottle, but not this, some peach but also nashi pear, lemon curd and nougat. Flinty stone fruits to close. Super drink but let it warm up a bit.

Again this comes from Rice’s vineyard, Chardonnay not a wine of renown from this region but this is a top notch drink, a drinker and not a thinker at this stage however.
Gets the royal treatment like all OTW wines with hand picking, whole bunch pressed, 10 months on lees and the loving caress of a hotshot winemaker in the making.
Stone fruits and flint with a close out of lemon curd and nougat. A hint of mature apples also at times, but needs to be warm(ish) to get the full impact of the complexity.
A very enjoyable drink, but not one for the chardonnay purists. Open your mind and enjoy the ride!
