2010 By Farr Pinot Noir “Farrside”

Tart cherries and spice with a brackish bitterness and earth to close (which I suspect is whole bunch influenced). Consumed with tortellini and sun dried tomato, the acid and slightly bitter profile slice through the richness of the dish to provide perfect counterpoint. A lovely wine with excellent length; in the words of Sir Mix-a-lot, its “…long and strong, it’s gonna get the friction on!”
