Made by the esteemed Dan Standish, these Barossa wines are in a class of their own in many ways for their serious take on South Australia’s great grape offering. Blackberry, blueberry pie…no real notes of apricot from the Viognier, but its lifted / lythe on the palate, intense…milk chocolate raspberry and mouth coating. The whole thing is embracing – sombre / serious / dense.
